Terms and Conditions for Initial Legal Consultation

1. Consultation Fee

• The fee for a consultation at MC Abogados for 2025-2026, for both online and in-person modalities, will be €60.50. To book a date and time, advance payment is mandatory, in accordance with the payment methods indicated in the General Conditions.
  
  

2. Booking Confirmation

Once payment is received, the firm will confirm the appointment through its usual communication channels (email, WhatsApp, or phone call).

The confirmation will include:

• Date and time.
• Modality (in-person/virtual).
• Address or connection link.
• Additional relevant information.
  
  

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• With advance notice: If the client cancels at least 24 hours in advance, the amount paid will be refunded via the same payment method used. If this is not possible, the refund will be made in cash at the office located at Pl. Tetuán 40-41, 1st floor, office 21.
• With late notice (less than 24 hours): There will be no right to a refund, but the consultation may be rescheduled within the following 15 calendar days, subject to agenda availability. The consultation can be conducted in any modality (in-person, virtual, or by phone).
• No notice/no-show: If the client confirms attendance but does not show up, connect virtually, or appear at the office, the appointment will be considered canceled after a 15-minute waiting period. In this case, there will be no right to a refund, and a new consultation will need to be paid for.
  
  

4. Changes by the Firm

The firm may modify the date and time of the initial consultation with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

In this case:

• The client will be offered priority rescheduling in person, virtually, or by phone.
• If the client does not accept the new proposed date, they will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.
  
  

5. Acceptance of Conditions

Payment for the initial consultation implies express acceptance of these specific conditions and the firm’s General Conditions.

Quote Validity Policies

1. Validity

• Any quote issued by Martínez Caballero Abogados will be valid for 15 calendar days from the date of issue.
• If the client makes payment within this period, the agreed amount and conditions will be maintained.

2. Retroactivity

A quote may be applied retroactively up to a maximum of 3 months prior to its issuance, provided that:

a) The client presents documentation justifying the request.
b) A partner or manager of the firm approves the retroactivity.
c) The quote is subject to revision based on the services actually rendered during that period.

3. Validation

To validate a quote, the client must:

• Confirm their acceptance in writing (email or physical signature).
• Make payment within the validity period.

If these requirements are not met, the quote will become void, and a new one will need to be issued.

4. Review and Adjustments

The firm may modify quotes in case of:

• Changes in market costs.
• Legal or administrative adjustments.
• Other relevant circumstances.

The client will be notified before final confirmation.

5. Policy Acceptance

The request or acceptance of a quote implies the client’s agreement with these conditions.
